Blank are a dark hardcore band from Solingen and Cologne, Germany, who in 2014 and 2015 approached me to develop some t-shirt designs for them to sell at their live shows. The first illustration is inspired by the film ‘The Shining’ and was a sketch that I suggested to them. The second illustration stemmed from a few discussions with the band concerning what they wanted. Both were drawn with ink on A4 paper and then digitally suitably modified for screen printing with Photoshop.
